The key feature here is the 15-cell configuration, meaning its compatible with like units (previous models like the 4u L5 variant and even the 2,4kw Shoto). That’s the only reason this unit is being advertised.

The SDA series uses new LiFePO4 technology, being reliable, safe, durable and easy to install in any environment suited to renewable energy, UPS or telecommunication.  Especially suitable for outdoor cabinets. It is quite suitable to household or small business Solar and Backup applications. Notice that it is a 48V battery pack with a capacity to store 4.8kWs worth of power. Flexible configuration: multi modules can be parallel connected to create a larger bank.

It has a good cycle life performance being 6000 cycles at 80% (3.84kW) or 5000 Cycles at 100% (4.8kW).

The battery system uses a high-performance battery management system (BMS) which automatically manages and measures the battery’s charging and discharging current, and manages the battery’s float charge and boost charge. It has high charge currents (short charge period). The battery system has a good electromagnetic compatibility.

It is small in volume and light in weight, reducing by about 50% the battery bank size if compared with Lead Acid Batteries to store the same amount of power.
