Given the challenges and unreliability of state-owned power supply networks, remote and independent charging stations for electronic devices are becoming necessary. However, what the market often offers are incredibly low-quality solutions that cannot handle the demand, not to mention poor warranties or support.

An example of a project undertaken was the design and small-scale production of custom battery charging stations (with racks for computer tablets) for use in the education field. A prototype system to charge approximately 30 tablets was built and tested in the field. Changes where recommended and implemented to a small production run. These units have currently been successfully deployed into a class room environment. Issues such as the control of heat generated by charging in a high ambient temperature environment, internal protections from issues such as overcharging and the security of the system, had been properly addressed to the satisfaction of the client.
