This generic DC Power Kit comprises of the following:
100W Solar Panel.
10 Amp 12V charge controller.
100 A/h 12V Deep Cycle Battery (approx 600 cycles at 50% depth of discharge and approx 1400 cycles at 30% depth of discharge).
5 meter black, 5 meter red 4mm Cable for solar applications. Including MC4 connectors.
20A Fuse, Fuse Holder for battery to load output (to prevent overdraw on battery) - therefore don't use over 240W at any given point.
This small kit will provide around 500W Hrs (0.5kW/hrs) assuming panel gets a full days sunlight, and is angled optimaly. Its adviseable to not draw 0.5kW hrs always and try use less, if possible so as to lengthen battery life and to keep some reserve power. So its better to use say 400W - hrs (0.4kw/hrs) of energy from thuis kit. (approx. 34 Amps's).
Kit for DC applications such as: DC Light Bulbs, LED or CFL, a DC TV, DC Fan, Fridge/cooler etc
Should one want to get some AC power for a lite AC appliance one can couple a small DC to AC inverter to the battery (wouldn't go larger then say 1000W inverter). One would need to then increase the fuze size.
