Default setup is fitting normally runs with both Tubes on, until power failure after which 1 tube remains on via Emergency back-up battery (called the maintained state).

The kit uses the Emergency Module LEM5909 10-300v designed to provide maintained or non-maintained, emergency lighting using a variety of LED lamps(10-300Vdc) constant voltage. The LEM5909 uses Li-ion or Ni-cad battery to provide power output to the LED Emitter in emergency conditions. The kit is designed according to IEC61347-2-7.

The luminaries consist of an injection-moulded flame-retardant polycarbonate housing and prismatic or opal diffuser. The powder coated white reflector and control gear tray, upon which all electrical components are mounted, are secured by means of multiple twist lock latches to secure the reflector to the housing. The silicon sponge seal is moulded into the housing to ensure an optimal seal between the housing and the diffuser.
